Evendale

A quiet village built around GE Aviation

Evendale is a small village in Hamilton County, surrounded by Sharonville, Blue Ash, Glendale, and Wyoming, about 15 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. Incorporated in 1951, the village has long been shaped by GE Aviation, which has operated a major jet engine manufacturing and testing campus there since the 1940s and remains one of the region's largest employers. Formica Corporation, maker of the laminate that bears its name, was also founded in Evendale.

Gorman Heritage Farm

Gorman Heritage Farm is a 122-acre working farm and nonprofit educational center in Evendale, with several miles of hiking trails, a wildflower preserve, farm animals, and a farm store. It hosts school field trips, summer camps, and community events throughout the year and is one of the village's best-known landmarks.

Beyond Gorman Heritage Farm, Evendale maintains its own parks and recreation facilities, including Evendale Recreation Center and Cunningham Park, giving residents access to trails, sports fields, and picnic areas within the village.
